New Survey: Best Interpreter of St. Thomas Aquinas

October 27, 2006

Because I am working on an article on Henri de Lubac, I have been reading a lot on the development of 19th and 20th century Thomism. Keeping in that spirit, I have posted a new poll, found in the sidebar to the right: Who is the best modern interpretor of Thomas Aquinas?

I have selected individuals according to the tradition of Thomism they represent and according to their general popularity among Anglophone readers of Thomas. Here are the options: Étienne Gilson, Jacques Maritain, Ralph McInerny, Josef Pieper and Eleonore Stump.
